I sure did. And a long hike back in the dark. On the way up I stopped and visited with an elderly couple that were resting by the trail. He was 78 and she was 72. I thought about them when I finally made it to the Arch. I felt sad that they would not be able to make it to the arch. They had made the trek back when they were on their honeymoon 50 or so years earlier and they wanted to go again before they got too old to make the hike. Once the golden hour had passed we all started making our way down. To my surprise the elderly couple was there. They had made it all the way to the Arch. Needless to say I was impressed and inspired. A very nice family from Belgium and I walked most of the way back down with them.
