with my new 100m. This is my very first attempt. I've been waiting a couple of days for the weather to clear and guess what it's still pouring it down. So I found this rose in my daughters bedroom courtesy of her boyfriend, thought I know a better use for that and with the help of a torch took the shot.

A new world has opened up and I'm so excited though totally out of my depth

One thing I did notice was the amount of PP dust removal I had to do, I'm assuming the macro coupled with the high f number lets you see dust you wouldn't normally see??, either that or the daughers ex rose was dusty:)

Anyway off to practice some more

Yes from 1:1 up you start to notice dust that wouldnt normally show up especially at f11 and less. Rocket blower usually cleans it for a few weeks but any stubborn spots may need a couple of drops of eclipse fluid on a pec pad.

The rose stood in a vase on the table and I placed a torch underneath it, no other light. It was dark other than that. High tech I know, ;)

Neat shot. It doesnt even look real, which is usually a sign you are doing something right.
