Pic size with 1DMKIIN

Howdy,
I was wondering what print sizes users of the 1DMKIIN folks are getting?

I've got the L glass and I want to move from film to digital but I'm a little nervous plunking $4k for this machine if I can't get 11x14 or 16x20.

I can print 16x20 with 6mp shots from my 300D. A bit bigger shouldn't be any problem with 8mp.

30x40 wouldn't be unheard of.

"Most experts suggest that the best way to evaluate the quality of a digital image is to view it at 100% magnification on a high-quality monitor. When the objective is image editing, this is good advice. These same experts also point out that average human vision cannot resolve more than 300 ppi (pixels per inch) for printed output. Using these specifications, please review the following chart:

Max. Resolution Image Dimensions @ 72 dpi (Screen resolution) ==> 48.7 x 32.4 inches

Image Dimensions @ 300 ppi (Printing resolution) ==> 11.7 x 7.8 inches."
The key here is not only what resolution you print at, but whether or not you are interested in using interpolation software to get your 11x14 or 16x20

There are several "upsizing" actions for photoshop available to do what you need. Specialized interpolation software is also available.

Look into what can be done to get the size photo's you want at the resolution you want.
