Well, actually I *think* it might be over 2500 if you count my previous post here too...
To answer your question, everything that's in my Gear List has been bought now in December actually, after a long and tough saving period that's taken over two years... Originally I started saving for the 300D, but as new models came out I decided to keep saving 'til I could afford a "more complete" kit, ie with some more equipment than just the camera and kit lens.
Being a student sucks lol, never quite enough $$$.

Here's a list over what each item cost:
(Don't add it to the Spend-A-Thon, already added)

Canon EOS 400D with the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 (Held for resale purposes.)
799.90€/$1 055.63

Tamron [SIZE=1] SP AF 28-75mm F/2.8 XR Di LD Aspherical IF Macro (ON THE WAY, ARRVING JANUARY 1OTH!)
[SIZE=2]339.00€/$447.37

Tokina AT-X 100mm f/2.8 PRO D Macro
359.90€/$474.96

Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II "Nifty Fifty" with ES-62 hood
119.90€/$158.23

Lowepro
Slingshot 200 AW
77.00€/$101.62

Sandisk Ultra II 2 GB CF x 2
134.00€/$176.84

Hama 5610 Sensor Blower
12.00€/$15.84

Velbon Sherpa 750R Tripod (ON THE WAY!, ARRIVING FEBRUARY 2ND!)
102.90€/$135.80

Canon
RC-5
20.00€/$26.39

Total:
1964.60€/$2592.68
I bought them locally, and yes, I'm avare of that B&H has them for way less, BUT add the postal charges some 25.5% in taxes and customs' costs, and you're up to sums very similar to the ones I payed.

Basically
I've got the money to acquire the items in my wishlist, and will be getting those within the next 2-3 months, if no un-expected bills turn up.
The dreamlist, well... Dreams are dreams...

I just spent $1400.65 yesterday at B&H.
Canon 24-70 f/2.8
2 B+W UV filters
2 Extreme III 2GB cards

About $60 in printing costs for portfolio work at Nelson's and Mpix.

GF Lightsphere II, that was about $65 w/shipping.

I rented a 300mm f/4 for a day, that cost $35. Does that count?

I can't belive how close we are to 400K..

teetering on the brink.. the cost of ONE 1DS MkII, or One new 600mm f/4L IS would be enough to tip the scales ;)

I can't see any FF in your gearlist, so it is your time now to get 1DsMKII and break down that record already and then we will celebrate with you;)

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

the ballhead will be in January's spend...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Damn.
I think thats the 400,000 mark beaten. wow.

And we're only a very, very, very, very small part of the camera gear buying world population.

So long and thanks for all the flash
