I haven't received it yet, but it's bought and paid for:
Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L IS........$1621.00

B&H said I'd be one of the first shipment if I authorized them to debit the credit card at time of order. Should be any day now.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

I need one if IS is there;).
This lens is in my list and BH never sent me a message that if that lens is available or in stock or so.
I can wait for next year planning.

I had put my name on the wish list, but later decided to actually buy it. According to the order-taker, I will be in the first batch they receive, which might not have been the case otherwise.

Made a couple of trips to the local camera store (Bel Air Camera) this month.

First trip: 85mm 1.2L with a couple B+W filters & misc stuff $ 2,228.87

Second trip: 24 - 105 4L w B+W filter $ 1,331.45

There will not be a third trip this month because it might the tipping point for my wife to seek out a replacement husband.

I will add to it this year.

I spent $1900 on a 30D, Sigma 70-200 2.8, karachi outpost bag, cf card holder, misc. (batteries, etc.). Now to put it to good use.

So far since the Thanksgiving holiday...

Canon 580EX
400mm f/5.6L
1.4x Extender II
Tripod mount ring for 70-200mm f/4L

... forgot about the monopod

Total spent on camera equipment: $1928.40

Now... if I can include the amount that I spent on my wife to be able to get this equipment, you can add $6875 to the total. :(
