well i like it. when ever i try this, there's always part of the flower out of focus.

Thanks... I was about 3" away from the Rose when I took the Picture.

IMO the rose is blown out to much, did you use a flash on it?

Yes I used a Canon Speedlite 430EX and the Camera’s white balance was set in Auto mode, the same as the other flower

The first one is nice with all the colors in the background. I'd suggest that you reframe to get the tip of that bottom petal into the picture.
