Hi Everyone!
My computer system is windows xp service pack 2 pentium 4.
I have problem with zoombrowser which came with my new powershot sd 800. Before that I have canon powershot G2 which I bought in 2003. I was using its software.
The problem is when I downloaded the new version which came with sd 800, the old version has merged into the new version BUT THE OLD PICTURE FOLDERS HAVE DISAPPEARD IN THE NEW VERSION.
How can I find the old folders in the new version which containS thousands of pictures. I have searched in new version but no way. I just wanted to know have I lost my old picture folders. Can I find and locate the old folder in the new version? What happend to the old folders from powershot G2's sofware to when I downloaded sd 800 version?
PLEASE HELP.

What version of Zoom Browser came with the G2? IIRC ZB versions in the 2.x range had a separate database you had to export, then import into the new one. But the files should still be on your computer. Did you shoot RAW (CRW) or JPG? Try searching for files with those extensions; there'll be a lot of unrelateds ones but you should hit a gold mine of yours as well.

The older version of ZB used to store the images in the Program Files Folder. The new version store them by default in My Documents -> My Pictures.
Browse for the old images using Windows Explorer, locate the folder then either copy or cut the folder and paste it into my pictures and you will be able to view them in ZB.

The new version does not automatically know about those older folders, so you need to update the new ZB 'Favorite Folders' to have those folders in its list. If you know the path for the folders you used to use with your early version of ZB, start ZB and then in the lower left simply Add them to the list of 'Favorite Folders'.
