I adjusted the colour temp slightly in the first one and I think it looks better now.

Nice photos rhs _ Kings Canyon is a beautiful we visited back in June.

Very nice, I like #2 best. The water flowing towards the viewer is striking. Nice balance of blur in the flowing water with the water detail. Thanks for sharing.

Toney, I agree its a wonderful place. And the strange thing was that when I visited in August, it was virtually deserted!

I like the second image, a well controlled and exposed composition, those whites are glorious. You obviously had some difficult light to contend with, consequently a couple of hot spots I'd consider cropping/cloning.

theshaner: I wasn't sure how to copy the exif, so I did a screen shot from windows.

Les: Thanks very much Yes, the lighting was very tough. Most of my time was spent trying to find an area of the stream under even (and fairly dim) light and this was the best I could get. Thanks for pointing out the hotspots - I'll see if I can do something with them in Photoshop.

Btw - it was shot with a Canon 20d and 18-55mm EF-S 'kit lens'.
