thanks kevin and denny. really appreciate your compliments. and once again a big thanks to Kevin for his 24-70L that he loaned me for my trip. all the feedback and generosity i see everyday on this forum makes me remember why i love this community.

i never noticed that my dust spots were so bad, i thought the rocket blower was getting most of the crap out of there..
looks like ill be taking a stiff-bristle toothbrush to the sensor tonight, that will totally fix the problem!!

it's amazing what you start to see when you crank the f-stop...i've got the whole copperhill cleaning set, but you'll have to pre-fab your own spatula because mine is cut for the 30D sensor...although i suppose the stiff-bristle will do just fine!

well this isn't a photo I took, but it is related to the trip: this shot was taken by one of the other people in our group of me and two other guys after taking a dip in the Colorado River. You'll recognize Eric from the fourth photo I posted in this thread on the left, and I'm on the right. Alex, a.k.a Muscles from Brussels, is the guy in the middle.
