Nov 29, 2006 11:45 | #7 Joe from Chicago...you keep your camera dry by using a 600mm lens, tripod etc. and stay out of the water!!! If I'm in the water, I leave the camera behind take my board and enjoy the waves!! With many many folks grabbing up water housing and trying to shoot surfing have created a new hazard in the line-up. It's not bad when there is only one guy out shooting, but, now there's a half dozen out there............so anyway, unless it's a very special crew out surfing and I have been invited out to shoot from the water....I stay on the beach with the bikinis Mike R
