I've always liked taking pictures since I was a kid(31 now). I started out with those rectangular point and shoot film cameras, then messed with my dads old Canon SLR film camera..then I bought my first digital point and shoot in '97 which wasn't even 1 mp but it did have the LCD display and ran me roughly 275 bucks! I then went through 5 other point and shoots and finally got my first digital SLR last year.. a Nikon D50.. was fun and all but I wanted "more" so I got myself a Canon 30D Couple months back.. So now I have a Nikon D50 that i hardly use, a Nikon coolpix 7900 P&S that I take everywhere with me as well as my 30D.. It goes everywhere..when i go eat out, go to the mall, to the park, vacation, and even to work.

I never use to care about going to weddings but now I look fwd. to one so I can take my gear and practice LOL. I get along really well with the pro photographers at events too cause of my curious nature of what lenses and cameras they use. I get tickled pink when family and friends ask if I could take some pictures of them. I also get excited like a 5 yr old getting his first bicycle when I'm about to go to a sporting event or party not only to enjoy the event, but to get tons and ton of shots. There (sigh).. I feel better getting this off my chest to people that understand where I'm coming from :o). Thanks for reading!

I take days off work just to drive to the local photography store and drool at merchandice... then go home and post process pictures.... Good thing the company I work for is flexable.

not to mention.. when a guy with a slr walks past me.. i try and get a glimpse of the camera and lens.. not his ass!! And ya, i'll take out the camera and clean it , look it at in the mirror while holding it. I envy the guys with the 1D cameras. Someday...someday :)
