The same question as a previous thread. But i was wondering what is a good reliable online shop as I am looking for a 70-200f4 zoom. There is Jesops, Amazon etc, but is there a good value reliable on line shop in the UK that you would recommend.
Thanks in advance
Ben

I would also highly recommend Warehouseexpress.com, there prices are very competitive and service is excellent. I have bought several items from them and they are my automatic choice now.

Check out: http://www.camerapricebuster.com/index.html (external link) if you're lens shopping.

http://www.cameras2u.com/ (external link) seem to offer the best prices on most lenses and with free next day delivery on orders over £100 you can't go wrong.

I've always used warehouse in the past. They're great but the only problem with them is that they don't inform you of any out of stock items.
Going to use cameras2u for my next lens purchase unless anyone can say otherwise.

yeah, another vote for warehouse express here, their customer service is superb - and thats not something you find in abundance with internet stores these days...

Remember that Jessops shops will undercut any UK website. Therefore if anything goes wrong you can go back and remonstrate with a spotty oik!

Park Cameras are very helpful, and twice have had stock when no-one else did (24-105 and 300/4 Ls), at a low price.

Warehouse express will of course inform you of stock levels (I disagree with the post above) - if you phone them, of course!

I also recommend Warehouse Express - good prices and very quick courier delivery. I always shop online from home or work and then have it delivered to my work address (if paying by CC). If it's out of stock they will email you, at this point you can back out and cancel the order (have done this 3 times with no problems) as they do not debit your credit card until they despatch your order.

Saves all that messing about waiting at home for the postman and he would have to knock on the door and that just would alert the wife, wouldn't it?

Warehouse express are excellent, bought my 350d, i9950, sigma ex 20-40 all delivered the next day. Used AJPURDY twice and both times had to chase them for stock (so not reccommended).

Actually if you can be bothered go direct to B&H in Newyork, saved over £100 off uk internet retail on a 70-200f4L lens and arrived within a week. They were superduper Kosha! Yeah make use of the low exchange rate, UK sterling is strong!

http://www.morrisphoto.co.uk (external link) is superb for bags, and if you can make it along to their shop they have an example of pretty much every bag you can try out with your gear.

I've also found Amazon fairly good, especially with their Marketplace facility.

Perhaps i'll print off the page and take it to Jessops.
