Australians wouldn't give a XXXX about your 2nd shot

I however quite like it ;)

The 1st shot is a great example of your UWA lens on a full frame body :D

I know, in the first, there is so much detail that at 100K it suffers a lot

Nice shots Les that are good examples of the effects that can be achieved with the focal lengths used.

I've never disliked any of your shots Les, they are always fantastic, and the trees in the first one are no exception, gorgeous image. However, the second shot, while technically perfect, doesn't do anything for me, perhaps because there is some significance in the can that I am missing because I've been living in the sun for too long;)

The colors are great in the first one, Les. I wish I would have had some nice blue sky to work with while out shooting fall colors, as I probably would have attempted a shot like that.

With the second one, I now see what you drink while you're out shooting! Is that the key to your terrific shots?

Les, I like how your first shot is divided, with some of the trees in the shade and the rest in the sunlight. It creates a pleasing contrast with the vibrant Fall colors and the rich blue sky, very nice
