And that's what is was right then, a sun shade. Once again thanks to MazerRakhm for shooting it.

Okay, you can stop thanking me, I'm going to start blushing.

No, I didn't notice that but I did notice how low he was when he was under center. He was so low I don't think he could have seen over his lineman. Thanks again for shooting that picture. Post up some of your shots, you have some excellent shots too. Like I told you the other day, I think you have better timing than I do.

Yeah he was, I tried to get a good picture of that, but he was so low it made it hard to do! He didn't really kneel as much as he squatted down to an almost sitting position, which has gotta be hard on the knees!

*edit*

Not to hijack your thread with my pics but for anyone else reading this is what we're talking about. He's gotta be staring at the back of the centers head...

Chris,
As usual, these are fantastic. I think Photodawg1 hit the nail on the head. You should put together a marketing portfolio and start marketing yourself to some college/professional teams. Forget "Buyer" as a living. You got it goin' on. Get some professional gigs. (I'll carry your gear for you .... all the way to my car   )

Very nice shots. You should post the one of the receiver being hit from behind inside the goal line. That's an awesome shot.

Jamey - Thanks for the very kind words. I think this is the shot you were talking about.

there will be rugby matches in my area for about 2 or 3 days as i heard (Finals), so i may go to do some photog.
I asked about tips on my another thread and Mr. Paul answered me very well, many many thanks to him, so again, which location did you stand to shoot from?
i wish if you can post a Drawline of the pitch and pointing the place you stand at.

again, nice stunning shots ( and i hope that our environment is good for photography as well).

Great shots! They look a thousand times better than the TV did (I am officially an HDTV junkie and it was not broadcast in HDTV). Great game by the way.

Very cool. Images. I'm from West Chicago (just east of Batavia). I don't follow HS football so much, but I probably would have been rooting for Batavia had I been there. Really nice shots! I like #4 the most. Marvelous timing.

Tareq - I was on the sidelines and you not allowed in between the 25 yard lines, basically from the players benches. You could stand anywhere from the 25 to the goal and around the end zone. Good luck on your shots.

Chris,
Great crisp shots. Looks like you and Kevin had a good time. How could the weather get any better? Nice job.

Hey Chris,
I will be shooting in mid afternoon saturday football playoffs also. I got the same 70-200mm Non IS lens you got except i'm going to take along the 1.4 Extender. Going to have a 85mm on another camera for sidline shots. Would you recomend me taking of any particular things you feel you might have missed or really liked out of your captures?
Thanks in advance,
-Joey

Beautiful photos, as usual! I think your timing is especially impressive. Photos like numbers 2 & 3 are so difficult to capture well, but you got them both at just the right moment.

Thanks for the comments and good luck on your shoot Joey. If your shooting in the mid afternoon sun, expose to the right just a little to help with the faces under the helmets. These were shot with the 300 but you should have good shots with your setup. I shoot from a kneeling position a lot because I like the perspective. Find out who star players are on the teams and keep an eye on them. Post some shots when you are done.
