Ronald who?

I want you all to appreciate one thing: For every one of those 10,000 posts, there was a crew of moderators looking over his shoulder who had to read each and every one of them.

Ronald: you've made a whole lot of work for us.

Congratulations.

Oh sure..makin' me feel bad about being here. :p

Were my posts that hard to understand that the whole crew of mods had to read them? ;-)a

Ronald, your original gear list looked a lot like mine. I had the 10D, 28-135 and 85 1.8 before going nuts here and spending more money than I ever thought I'd ever spend in a lifetime. Also, did you just change your signature again! The 30D?

ROFLMAO!!

Seriously, though, you joined 9 days after me and I've only got a few over 1,500 -- I can't imagine having 10,000 at this point???!!!

But then again, I've never owned even one 24-70! ;-)a

Congrats.

Do you mean the 85 1.2?

Well Ron, it looks like you're having a lot of fun right now...but I have to ask...will you really be happy with the 30D? Given the fact that you shoot in low light so much?

10,000 posts in less than a year and a half. Some would say it's crazy; some would say I have no life. Both of them would be correct. All I know is that since I've joined here, I've met a host of helpful people, and learned so much about photography, it boggles my mind. I went from using auto mode only when I signed up, to almost exclusively in manual mode. I went from an XT with a kit lens, 28-135, and a 50 1.4, to a 5D, several L lenses, and a load of other equipment. It's been incredibly fun and interesting. I've had a hell of a time chatting with tons of great people like Suzy, Mark, Sari, Peter, Tom, Jake, Maureen, Dante, Jim, Don, Dan, Dan, Tommy, and many many more. I also chatted with other people, like Dave. :p

I want to thank everyone for their help, and for being such upstanding folks. :-)

It's been fun. Here's to 10,000 more. ;-)a

Wow! You almost brought tears to my eyes. So much emotion.:lol::lol:
Way to go, Ronald!

Nah, probably not. If I'm not, I'll just put the ol' 24-70 back on the block and go back. No biggie. Then I'd have the 35L and 85L, and I'm soon to be getting another 135L, so I should be all set there. ;-)a

I am having lots of fun, though.  I'm excited to be getting a keg. Anxious to see just how good it is.
