My season is all done, all that is left is editing pictures.

On the bright side, the weather for the state finals was the nicest I have ever seen. People who've covered it for a long time said it was probably the nicest weather in a decade, which meant a lot of time to practice shooting the passing play as teams threw the football.

Here is where it all starts, the QB launches the ball..

and sometimes the recievers launch to get it.

It's always easier to get a facial under the helmet of a runner as he tries to find the hole though!

Thanks for looking!

The pictures look good Kevin. It was a beautiful day, who would have thought in the low 60s at the end of November. I'm looking forward to next season already.

Thanks Scott and Chris.

It hasn't hit me yet, but will on Friday night. I'll get the twitches or something.

The pictures are awesome. For some reason the photos with half-empty bleachers in the background aren't nearly as exciting.

Actually this year was probably the biggest turnout I have seen total in the three years that I've been doing the finals. It's hard for high school fans to fill a big 10 stadium!

I don't quite remember, but I don't think that one was the pass with the flags. I don't think I got shots of that one because I remember seeing it.

Neat shots. Schmitt (#9) seems to be all over the field. He's in most of your pics. Do you know him? ;-)a

No I don't, he's just one of those players that is always where the play is.

Then by that criteria... I guess I'd say he's a good player. ;)

The captures are very nice. Great colors and crispness. Would prefer less clipping or cropping of arms and legs. Nice work with the action.

Kevin,
Nice timing. I love the last shot when the running back is trying to pick out his hole. I shot on Fri. 1:00pm game. How different the weather was from last year.
