I just got my 30D in and am excited like everyone else. I read that it is good luck to take the first pictures of a duck so here they are. I figure I need all the luck I can get. It is a huge step up from my XT and I think it was well worth it. Now I just need to get some good glass (L) and I will be set. But I should really learn to use it all before I buy anything else. Anyways, here are the pics:

As close to a real duck as I could get.

The world just does not fit conveniently into the format of a 35mm camera. ~W. Eugene Smith

Congrats and enjoy.

The more pictures you take the faster you will learn... ;)
