SD600 or SD800?

I'm trying to decide between the SD600 and the SD800 and would like opinions on which gives me the most bang for my buck. While the SD600 seems to be the best value, I am interested in the SD800 mainly because of the image stabilization techonology, and because the ISO max is 1600 (although one review I read said it's not advisable to go over ISO 800 on this camera), but am wondering if it's worth the extra $100 over the price of the SD600. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I just got my wife a SD800 to replace her G3. The 800 is an excellent camera. I was looking between the SD700 and the SD800. The DIGIC 3 processor helps make it an excellent camera. She normally doesn't pay attention to camera shake. The IS really improved her pics. She is extremely happy with it, and I'm also very impressed. The extra money buys you into the latest technology, which makes this a better camera with real improvements.

I bought sd600's for my daughters and my niece, I am leaning towards sd800 for me, to replace dead s400- had been hoping to put off the replacement till spring....
