Your first image looks like your color adjustments added to much magenta/red to the trees and fence. I like the second image the cool blues and the nice greens make the image nhice to look at. Your thid also has a tonal problem, trees arnt suppose to be red. Do you shoot in RAW or in jpg? If jpg, consider shooting in RAW and setting your white balence through the computer using programs like Adobe Lightroom. Michael Behlen

I agree you need a slightly lighter touch with the contrast button Canon 1DS MKIII,7D, 85 1.2L, 24 F1.4L, 135 F2L, 200mm F2.8L,50mm F1.4, 120-300 F2.8, 12-24mm f 4.5

If I were you though, I would leave out that stone sign because I don't find it so interesting visually. Maybe it has personal meaning to you or whatever, but if you are trying to make a work of art, I think you need to keep things simple and to the point. Craig

I agree you need a slightly lighter touch with the contrast button , and your images could do with sharpening a touch. The first two, from a composition point of view, I've indicated a couple of flasw, the first, the tree should be either in frame or out frame, not half in. Second, the swan is too near the edge of the image.Still. I like where you are going with these. you have a good eye for what works, I just think you need to fine tune your PP skills and you will be there. Regarding the fence and cow crap, 'no pain-no gain' ![]() Best advice you could ever get,the only thing i have to add here,as Les said about your PP skils, watch out for these horizon bits with skies. I think the tones in the clouds come up nice. Anyway, thanks for sharing. 30D, 50D, Canon Macro 60mm f2.8, Canon 24-105mm F/4L, Canon 70-200mm F2.8L
