Lots of great photos there for sure, but this one is my favorite of them all. Great image.

I love backyard birds. Always a great way to pass some time.

Images like these are what convinced me to get my own Tammy 200-400 and it arrived today. Initial thoughts are basically, how on earth did I get THIS lens for $450 shipped (used from KEH)

Here's a quick and dirty from late this evening. Extremely low light. ISO 3200 on a 50D body, wide open at 500mm f/6.3 and just 1/25 sec. exposure...

Distance was about 40 feet. No blind at all.

A few more from today. Terrible heavy overcast today, so all these are wide open at f/6.3 and 500mm. ISO was 400 on a 50D. All were from the seat of my vehicle, hand held.
