Would you like to share how you did it?

60D, Canon 18-135 IS, Sigma 10-20 hsm, 24-70 2.8 hsm, 70-200 2.8 hsm, 430EX II, and all the other stuff that goes along with it.

sure. open the image you want, hit the create new adjustment layer icon (at the bottom of the layers pallete, its the half black half white circle. choose channel mixer. put red to -50, green to 200, and blue to -50. then check off monochrome. then you can adjust the background layer with levels for a bit more or less contrast depending on the image. if you like black and white you can end there. if you want color, then duplicate the background layer, place it above the channel mixer layer. change the blend mode to overlay, and then reduce the opacity to about 50% (so its a bit more subdued as IR is). once again you can stop there if you like it, but if you want a real extreme look like these then make yet another channel mixer layer and set it up the same (R-50, G 200, B-50) but do NOT check monochrome. then you can do whatever contrast and layer mask tweaks you want to make the most of the image. but thats the basic concept of the article.

My favorite is #2 shot, very cold and warm at the same time...
