i used a action called "gothic glow" on these shots....how do you think they turned out...they are meant to give the "dreamy" type of feeling

The "dreamy" effect is not very effective for me I'm afraid, but that is largely due to the subject matter of a wintery (read plain and dreary) scene with white sky. Of course if you were to take the same shot again in spring or autumn when there are extra colours and beauty, then I'm sure that the "gothic glow" will work very nicely. Of the four shots, I like #3 best for its composition and colour in the water and the foreground grass.

Agree with John, probably not the best subject matter to try it out with?

For me it makes an otherwise drab scene look very much more interesting. I like it.

We're in the same boat here, scenery is "plain and dreary". I think they look quite good considering. I would be interested in see one without the gothic glow.
