Taken yesterday when, for a second, the sun shone with a touch of blue sky.
It didn't last. :(
Although the weather was lousy the company was not.
Thanks David and Robert ....... I'll keep you on the right track. ;)

Anyway, this is Aira Force, near Ullswater in the English Lake District.

Your photo is much more alive and better all around. You really have made a good photo.

I have to agree with you Robert...He must have sat up all last night processing it to have it ready and beat us two to the post!

;)At least there is one consolation....think of all the "Art Direction" which we gave him to achieve this image...without our aid he wouldn't have had this shot!:p

Well done Cameron, it's a wonderful shot and one which you worked hard to achieve. The image has so much depth about it and the exposure is perfect with lots of detail in the flow of water. :D

I like how you have controlled the obvious difficult light here, + a glorious flow with good whites.

A beautifully exposed shot, Cameron, in very difficult light. Great stuff :D
When you say you've been away with the fairies, I wonder who you mean?

Cameron, are those headstones I see just to the right of the bridge? If so, it seems to be an odd place for a cemetery. Unless those are the headstones of people who have fallen to their death there! Wait, that's not funny.

Thanks for the comments guys.

JT, it's a rock outcrop to the right of the bridge although I see why you might think headstones on the small image.

I like it Cameron, and having just seen Robert's photo from a similar position, it is interesting just how different the two images can be given that they were presumably taken about the same time and approximately from the same location.
