Are you talking about the 4 channel wired remote? or the wireless?
I just ordered the wireless Radio transmitter and receiver. It's backordered and won't ship until next week sometime. If I was going to expand and didn't mind wires that remote looks pretty cool.

I just got mine used them last night in a high school gym and they worked fine. The only complaint I have is the mount doesn't screw down like a flash does mine moved back just a little not making a connection and I was confused for a second slid it forward agian and worked fine. No I know to check it from time to time.

Yes I was asking about the new wireles remote. Is there any way to mount it other than on the camera flash mount. I need to mount it on a strobo frame type flash mount.

I don't understand what you are asking.

You could use a hot shoe to off camera shoe or the PC jack on the camera to an off camera shoe. Since you are working in manual and not ETTL you can do it any number of inexpensive ways if you wanted.

Even the ST-ET, made by Canon, and with a sliding Lock switch had some movement when mounted on the hot shoe. It bothered me a lot. Unfortunately if these devices were to give you the locking screw down wheel like on the Canon flashes it would raise the price and they could not deliver to the consumer at as good a price.

I should have my wireless transmitter and receiver by the end of next week so I'll let you know how I like it and how it works.
