Heck I think you already have a sweet kit! If it were me, I'd give half to the wife just cuz and buy a nice tripod and head, sell the 85 1.8 and get the 85 1.2! Or sell the 50 1.4 and get the 50 1.2.

I love spending someone else's money! Lol

lol. Technically, since it is a bonus, I am spending someone elses money. ;-)a

That might be nice. Unfortunately, one of the reason's I get a bonus is that I don;t take too many vacations! :-(

You guys are giving me some really good stuff to consider. I'm a computer programmer, so I could even justify another computer for more than a hobby!

Sports, wildlife, etc: 1DMk2 would be a treat. (takes portraits just fine too). Devoted 5D nut here, but have a 1D and love what it can deliver.. the experience utterly CRUSHES the 20D. Had a 20D before, never really thought it was a substantial upgrade from the 350D but that's just me. 5D and 1D.. now THAT is upgrading. :D

But definitely spend some on the wife too.. don't need to spend ALL of it on her, but definitely share the goodies :)

Since you have a "cheap" tripod, I'd seriously consider getting a really good tripod/ballhead set up. It will make a difference for you.

Take the money and go to Fiji and enjoy your gear there. What's up? You have a great kit! Take the money and run, get out of town!

We lived in Hawaii for three years not too long ago, but your point is well taken. Due to my previous military service we've lived in Europe too. But the better half has always wanted to go to Australia for a vacation so that might be an option. I don't think that 4K would go too far in that area. Maybe a week during the off season.

No need to use the quotes for the word cheap. It is. I got it from eBay for 39.00. I think even at that price, I over paid for it too. lol. After all is said and done, I will probably take your advice.

yea, if you are looking for a tripod for a super tele, be prepared to drop about 1.5k for a support system.
