I just got a canon 20d and a 10-22mm lens a few weeks ago. I dont have a flash yet but i took this shot a few days ago. i photoshoped the light around the edges and thought i would post it up to get any advice or comments. thanks!

The photo is okay, but the dark corners and blurry background are too distracting to me. With that 10-22, you should be able to get some pretty good angles on just about anything.

oh man, we basically have the same setup. you love the lens eh? me too. just get low, as low as you can. sometimes i find myself getting on the ground...flat belly and all. use it as if you'd use a fisheye, you know? other wise, you had good timing, his back foot is real nice, and it's a real nice spot too, it has lots of potential in my eyes. composition is nice but like i said, get low. see where that black railing ends? get down in that area, and zoom in a little, too much dead space is just that...dead.
