i hardly ever shoot skaters but today my mate asked me to shoot him so i did.....

thought id post it for some C&C.

Thats a nice shot! I think a flash with this to show the skater more would bee cool too, but looks great

The border you put on it really makes the subject stand out. I agree with cronu that a flash with this would be good, but the silhouette shot is great.

The sillhouette is really nice, but generally in skateboard shots you'd want to have alot of detail on the skater and what he's skating.
He's also a bit centred too. You got nice and low which I like, but next time shoot from the left side, it almost looks as if you're shooting head on with the rail and you cut some of his board out.
