Images used w/o permission

instead of watermarking my images, i made them a rather low resolution to deter printing, but my images have been popping up a few places..

mostly forums, but people are claiming them as their own, they are hosted on photobucket, so they are definetly saved and rehosted, with the same file names, i wouldnt be surprised if EXIF data is still present.

what to do about it?

Have you emailed photobucket about it? That would be your first step.

Are any of the images registered? If so you may have a legal recourse. If not, oh well stick with complaining to photobucket. Probably the best you can hope for is they will ban the offending parties.
