He had a long day...

Feel free to crit. The source of light was a small lamp placed very close. That is why the lower left-hand side of the shot is so bright in comparison to the rest of the photo. Almost seems like some sort of a lens flare even though the light was not directly shot.

Aww, poor baby - it's a lovely shot. Our cat just went through quite a bit too, he disappeared for 24 hours, and turned up covered in dry dirt and looking very miserable. Had a long exam at the vets, 3 X-Rays, no bones broken, but a cartilage damaged between his ribs, and some painful neck and leg muscles. We think he fell out of a tree. He's still very out of it.

You did a great job with that shot.

Thanks guys. I've always experimented a lot and have only had little to work with. I was just able to buy this new digital Rebel XT and a decent canon lense (ef28-135mmf/3.5-5.6 IS). I really hope to devote a corner of our apartment to a mini-studio at some point.

As for the cat I will more than likely be submitting many more pics of him in the future. He is extremely photogenic and loves to stand in windows (which means natural light). Quite the cat I tell you :)

Appreciate the comments

Kirk
