I use the Tamarac 5686 and it's a perfect fit with room for spare card and battery.

I found a perfect fitting case for my SD550 at Target. A Case Logic case that is similar to the first one you bought, but much more padded. Its got velcro flaps on the back for fastening to my belt and its nice to get the camera out without having to fuss with a zipper. I can even fit an extra SD card OR battery in the front pocket. For $10 i cant complain one bit.

Just take your camera to any local stores that sell small camera/cell phone pouches. See how your camera fits and take out the guesswork from ordering online.
