Video is uploaded ot my computer via firewire in AVI format. The bad thing about it is that it takes a lot of disk space. But the good thing is that the video quality is very, very good and easy to work with when editing. ...Leo

MPEG2, on the other hand, is nice if you don't expecit to do much editing of the video. It takes up less disk space. For the kind of editing most typical camcorder users do, i.e. cut out unwanted sections. trim clips and then splice everything together and maybe add a title and sound/music, MPEG2 is OK. ...Leo
