Porsche 550 / 1500 RS Spyder - 1956
The only car of its series to come to Australia brand new. This vehicle won the 1956 Ardmore Tourist Trophy in New Zealand Grand Prix and was driven by Stirling Moss. This model will always be remembered as the car James Dean was driving at the time of his death. This particular vehicle chassis is numbered 56 James Deans chassis was number 55.
Taken with the nifty 50 at f1.8 with off-camera flash at 45 degrees camera right.
