Just thinking, I have another eye cup in the box, should that be right?
Erm... you've got TWO? - are they different?
The contents listing on the side of the box says nothing about two eye-cups.

The 30D cup slid off easily but the 1D will not come off now as I was going to do a proper side by side shot What's this for?

Its only when you put them side-by-side you recall the difference. Haven't got a clue what that last one is - a 1972 Canon Cine Camera perhaps? 1DsMkIII | 1DMkIIN | 70-200 f/2.8L IS | 24-70 f/2.8L | 24-105 f/4L IS | 17-40 f/4L | 50 f/1.2L | WFT-E1 & E2 Transmitters - Click Here for setup advice | CP-E4 Battery Pack x 2 | ST-E2 | 580EX | 550EX | 430EXII | 420EX | Tripod + monopod | Bowens Esprit Gemini 500W/s heads & Travel-Pak | All this gear - and still no idea

Whats interesting is the 1D is twice the weight of the 30D. The rottary control on the back of the 30D has a much nicer action and feels more solid that the rottary control on the back of the 1D - useless info I know ![]()

They'll be detailed in your (download if necessary) manual. And the software will get along fine; keep the newer version of the two (that'd be the IIn unless you've downloaded an update for the 20D); but load the driver for the IIn. The newer version of the rest of the stuff will get along fine with the older camera. Jon
