I love these little things, and like to hear other peoples favorites.

Yesterday I heard this one - before I give it to you I should explain what I am talking about. Simple little one line throw away lines that actually make you think, smile, feel sad etc.

here is the one from yesterday -

We dont stop playing because we grow old - we are old because we stopped playing.

and one of my other favorites is

I used to be sad because I had no shoes then I bumped into the guy who had no feet.

What are you favorited ?????

My mom always said "This too shall pass" whenever we were going through a rough time... and she was right! :)

My two favorites

A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist.
and
A dream is just a dream. A goal is a dream with a plan and a deadline.

Live more today then you did yesterday..

When it's all said and done will this really matter?

Mistakes are stepping stones to successes

We are women. That's why. (my grandma on every how come question I ever asked)..

Never say you don't know just say you haven't found out yet.. (My grandpa).

Thre are two ways to get to the top of an oak tree. You can climb it, or sit on an acorn and wait.

Life should NOT be a trip to the grave with the goal to reach there in an attractive and well-preserved body, it's more like sliding in from the side with a chocolate in one hand, a bottle of wine in the other, the body totally wrecked, totally exhausted and screaming "Weeee haaaa! What a ride!"

A man has to do what a man has to do. A woman has do do what he can't do. ;)

A variation on this:

People who do not make mistakes rarely make anything.

Another of my favorites:

A ship in harbor is safe but that's not what ships were built for.

Cheers :)

"You didn't ask."
Said by a lot of my male friends in response to me/some other girl going "But why didn't you tell me?!"

"Your University time will be the best time of your life."
Said by my mom - and she was right.

"Money, power, greed."
Said by me when I was 16 & discussed with a friend what would be the 90's equivalent to "Peace, love & understanding."

"Men are either married, taken or gay..."
I keep saying this one a lot...

Shouldn't that be:

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he sits in a boat drinking beer all day.
