I agree with John.
Fabulous light and rich colours.

One thing (and I don't know why ) there seems to be a green fringe on the hills/sky border in the first image. ?!

I can't say anything more than what has been said other than the first image is stunning in it's light quality and warmth - nice shots. Certainly do some work on it to remove the green fringe which Cameron pointed out.

Although the light is sweeter in the 1st one,i prefer the 2nd as it has a better detailed sky and not that green CA of the 1st.
Beautyfull countryside and very well captured.

I think both shots are very nice. I really like the colors in the first photo. I noticed that the central hill in both shots are the same. Were both photos taken from the same spot? If so, what lens did you use for the first one?

yes the same spot no1 zoomed out on a ef28-200 f3.5 lens no2 zoomed in to the 28mm end the shots taken last tuesday afternoon
