oh boy am i slow, what do i do now

sorry to say i am really slow. so here is everyone laugh of the day at my expense, but maybe someone out there was thinking the way i did. i knew canon was having double rebate. example $50 of 24-70 2.8L but if you buy 2 then you $100, yeah well i was thinking you had to by 2 of the 24-70 2.8L to get a $100 off each. and kept thinking to myself why would anyone want to buy 2 of the same lens. yeah like i said i am slow. so now realizing that it is just 2 items on the list i don't know what to buy. so what have you guys gotten. i really want the 27-70 2.8L and don't really have the money to get another so i thought about the 430EX flash for a total saving of $130.

I got an 85 1.8 and a 24-70L.

You've got a good plan going. The 24-70L with flash is a beautiful thing.

I bought the 50 f/1.4 and the 70-200 f/4. I'm considering the 100 mm macro, too. If you don't have a flash that would be a great purchase.
