What was the reason for the f/22 aperture...greatest depth of field? John Stoy

The sun was so bright that I even used a ND filter plus a polarizer at once which is why I had to use that f-stop. Imo its one of my best shots to date since I am more of an advancd amateur. The shot would have been overly exposed if I didn's use these filters.
