LOL, no, I found the balance between beach/sky OK , i.e. because of the dark clouds/sun on the sand/reflections, it was in balance without grads.

Both fantastic shots with such nice details in the clouds. Number two is my favorite for the fantastic light on the beach. Very impressive and inspiring photos.

The first shot is nice Les, neat perspective and very rich colors, the footprints in the sand try to lead you in, too bad there wasn't a more distinct single path/line of them.

The 2nd shot beats the 1st hands down though, great lines and detail, there's lots to draw the eye in, and the sky is phenominal.

I love them both Les, they are excellent. I especially like the juxtaposition of the man-made world vs the natural world in the second.
