Any help on how to take a picture of say a full moon with billowing clouds all around? Everytime I take a picture there is no clarity on the above mentioned. It just comes out totally dark. Is it even possible to take these kind of shots with this camera?

First off make sure your using a tripod. Secondly, turn the flash off. I that doesnt get the photo your looking for try playing with the exposure settings in the manual mode. hope this helps.

I don't have a tripod. Yes I turned the flash off but still black. I will have to try messing with the exposures I guess. Thanks for any replies on the issue.

stabilize the camera somehow. put it on self timer mode, set your exposure and focus it, then trigger the timer and set the camera down facing your focus point. If there is a lot of ambient light around where you are shooting from, try going somewhere where there is not so much of it.
