SUPER nice shots you took! I wish you were using a 300, 400, or 500 prime when you captured those photos! Well done

Woahhh, nice shot. They are really good.. I can't imagine how good they'd look on a longer prime...

Great shots. A buddy of mine, rippanics who joined here last week to just give me grief, is an expert at these. He uses the 600mm and I think you did a wonderful job with just the 200mm. Here is his site to give you an idea of the reach.

good job, very good timeing, just curious..have you surfed before....the metering on the North Shore is pretty challenging...to explain your 2nd shot...looks like you shot it with a pretty dark stormy background!??

Thanks everyone..

MIke- I've never surfed in my life. Yeah The lighting was alittle funny because of the overcast from that morning but Im glad it helped with that shot. I looked through your site and you have some awsome pictures.. keep up the good work and I hope to be out thier for some big swells. I was trying to make it out to the first day of the O'niell comp but I never made it back out to the North Shore.. I wish I had, I heard the surf was alot better then at Haleiwa.

Beautiful shots, keep up the good work. I have the 100-400 and the 1.4. They are a good pair
