I took out my EOS350D today with a Sigma 10-20. Took some shots of dramatic sky on the Bournemouth sea front.

This lens is amazing. I have only had it 3 weeks and I am still getting to grips with it. The distortion at 10mm is crazy.

No. 2 and No. 4 are the ones for me.

I like the light on the pier and the way it draws you into the shot. It's a shame with number 2 that the foreground isn't a tad brighter.

In the number two shot the clouds look like a big flower or maybe a bomb blast.

I have the EFS10-22 and at 10mm you can get some funny looking shots. I have only had this lens for a month. I need to practice more to get away from the unnatural shots.

I must admit that I used 'perspective distortion correction' on this shot. The lamp posts were leaning too much.

Very nice Gnasher.

Your composition is very good and that lens certainly has a wide view. I presume this is in direct competition with the Canon 10-22mm.

On my LCD the sky appears grainy. Is this due to PP processing or were you using a higher ISO value?

Brilliant shots mate, please do post some more, the skies are very interesting.

Cheerio.

The shots appear a bit grainy on my monitor as well, however they are definitely some dramatic skies. I like #4 the best, the composition of the pier just works for me.

I used 100 asa so the grain is probably due to my poor application of post processing.

Here are some more .
