Does anyone know the part number/source for ordering a replacement for the flash foot stand that comes with the 550 and 580ex flashes? I need to order a couple but can't seem to find them.

I have one that came with my Promaster 7500 and one that came with my Sigma Super (the Sigma is larger and more stable). They should be interchangeable. Dec 03, 2006 05:11 | #5 Get the Nikon Flash shoe AS-19, apparently it comes with a metal thread over Canon's plastic one... Can't comment myself as I haven't got one. Some call me the Heilan' Laddie, but others call me Rob.

Can't comment myself as I haven't got one. I saw a metal frame/plastic guide one on B&H but I can't find it now. That's a very good point. The Sigma shoe stands (at least the one that comes with the EF 500 Super) have a metal brass-insert thread, too, so that's another option. ...Leo
