Just under that, "Digital Exposure Compensation" is listed sometimes and is often negitive while the Exposure Compensation is positive. At times the EC will be =+1.0 while the DCE will = -1.0. I can't find Digital Exposure Compensation mentioned in the Canon manual. How do these two differ and is the Digital Compensation automatic? 1D MKIIN 30D 20D and G6

I never saw it till I pushed an image in Canon's DPP utility one day, and then I saw it, listed just below my in-camera exposure comp.
