Using a 1D's MKII and a 70-200 2.8IS what would you hook the Monopod up to, body or lens?
Dec 02, 2006 19:10 | #2 ring on lens is best way. once in a while I either don't have the tripod ring on the lens, or just am too dumb to use it. You can get away with either way, but you lose the ability to go portrait if you don't use the tripod ring. Unless you want to pick up the monopod and hold it at 9 or 3 o'clock.
