You loose the crap factor which is a HUGE benifit with tele lenses. Not to mention, they are both "landscape" cameras. I would have wanted a "sports" camera as well. For the crop factor may it be 1.3 or 1.6, and high speed frame rates @ 8 FPS or 5 FPS. With a 1Ds and a 5D, the 5d is going to waste. Just my opinion... EDIT: And then I saw your gear list... And saw your pretty well geared out. haha I have 350D, 30D and 1D markII N, and that new FF similar bodies will come without losing anything or selling any camera, so i have all factors from 1 to 1.6 Galleries:

Dec 08, 2006 19:44 | #25 Tareq wrote in post #2372891 for what pupose? 70-200 will be the best zoom ever from canon. 100-400 is more than enough to me. just because that range and f2.8 i don't think it will be my most used lens, don't forget that 70-200 of sigma is great too but still canon one is the best. you have to buy what you like and feel ok with. Just now i am waiting a brown truck to come to my house with new present ordered ![]() That sigma would be great on a 1D MKIIn for sports, for a 1Ds MKII the 70-200 would be better so it could be used as a portrait lens also. In fact i need someone to use my gears as i can't use them all at the same time and it will be my pleasure to share my gears with someone, in that case i will feel more relax when i am with someone rather than alone. Don't be late, i am waiting ![]() are you a pro? because I can understand having two cameras (which I plan on doing myself soon), but 5 cameras is a little overkill...... Justin Evidon
