I guess it depends on what you are shooting. I shot my 82 all at one event. My daughter was in State Dance Competition and I wanted many photos, so in that case the more I took, the better chance of getting that just right one.

You're a boffin type Doc ... so you got the brains to figure out why that may not necessarily be so ;-)a In principle however I do agree with you that there are some forms of shootin' where one may well take numerous shots in rabid sequence, such as car racin', birdies in flight, some sports (not cricket!!) and paparazzi/Peepin' Tom-ism :D

It was kinda normal week, so somewhere around 1000 and 1500. But this week will be worse and therefore number will be higher.:rolleyes:
