so i have a papar due next week which i really need to work on. the problem is that it is the last paper i have left in my MBA program and i am just so burned that i can't even look at it. so what do i do? i hang on here all day... i don't think i have ever been so productive on a board before. i have helped many people today, replied to tons of threads and did a bunch of other things all so i don't deal with the paper.

:)

Don't avoid your work!! I mean.. it gives you money to buy gear!! :D (that's the way I see it!)

Even if photography is your work, it brings in money.. although it could be less fun in that case, but still, it makes $$.

If you are burned out today, go and sleep. You won't write good papers when toast. Don't log in tomorrow. Write your paper.. GET IT OVER and done with... then you can spend as much time as you want with us :)

Hmm, I'm doing a similar thing at the moment... got 1,500 words left on my last assignment after four years and it's just so hard getting up the motivation to do it. I'm taking tomorrow and the day after off from work to get it all finished in... I'm just so over it already. I've been a lot more active on here of late because of the very same reason too :p

While it is good to get it done remember to look after yourself as well - if you can afford to have a brief relax and forget about it for a while you may find yourself well recharged when you return. Works for me when I have the time, other times I just have to buckle down and relax after it's due.

thanks guys. i know that i will finish the paper because it is an easy subject and i already have a guaranteed A in the course. like Jim said, when you reach the end, it is so hard to put in that last effort.

Yup.. I can understand. Someone once asked me how I felt at the end of a long 3 year course I was on. I told them.. "$#(*ing tired, that's what."

It's like a marathon at times...

As Jim said, take care of yourself too. It will soon be over. Can I congratulate you in advance? :)

So....congratulations on making it! :D

You're far from stupid.. most of us aren't anywhere near as educated as you will be.

we both know what formal education is worth in the business world... don't get me wrong, i am happy i did it but i do think that it is a bit overrated.
