Do you have the option to record different formats to different memory cards (RAW-CF) (JPEG-SD)?

Sorry for this OT question but I have to ask, why do you refer to the camera as 1D's MK II (with the apostrophy)? Are you referring to the 1Ds MK II or some plural form of the 1D MK II? Just curious. ...Leo

Not true, you CAN record different formats to different cards at the same time. You can record raw to CF and jpeg to SD or vice versa. You can also write the same file to type to both cards at once. Other 1D family cameras either mirror to both or write to the selected card. Jon

Canon makes a series of cameras known as the 1D's but no individual camera called a 1D's (one D apostrophe s). Canon does make: 1D - Uses only CF cards. Can save jpeg and raw to same card. 1DMKII - Uses CF and SD cards - Can save jpeg and raw to same card. 1DMKIIn - Uses CF and SD cards - can write different formats to each 1Ds - Uses only CF cards. Can save jpeg and raw to same card. 1DsMKII - Uses CF and SD cards - can write different formats to each Again, he is refering to 1Ds MKII, just because he is thinking about it he write it with ' symbol.
