Derbyshire Peak district

Just near Castleton.
I don't do many landscapes so would appreciate any C&C's. I was pretty happy with this one but always keen to improve.

I don't know why you don't do more landscapes Andy, as if this one is typical, then you appear to have a pretty good eye for it.

Perhaps a little more contrast, especially in the sky (which has great potential for a bit of burning!) and watch for dust spots in the sky
Also may improve by cropping the left hand side by an inch or so as this does nothing in the picture (there is the road which leads nicely up to the rock face which in turn leads into the valley and the sky...but the LHS does nothing for me!)

Better The foreground has a really dreamy feel to it too, just the dust left to get rid of then

Nicely edited Andy. The second one definitely has more pop now.

I like the edited version, a bit tighter with more contrast really sets off the sky against the dream-like foreground (is there some gaussien blur on the go there?) and ties the comp together nicely. Well done, shoot more landscapes bud!
