WOW!! Awesome shot! Love it.... Where is that? Were you out hiking or something?

Thanks guys, Jasper Park Goat, never know what you'll find there some days you'd think there isn't an animal anywhere and other days they turn up everywhere.

There's a bit of a story to this photo.

Many years ago I lived next door to a young girl. One day a stray dog turned up in her front yard. It had obviously been mistreated and she begged her parents to let her keep it. After many weeks of nursing it back to good health, they became constant companions and it would follow her everywhere.

She had that dog for about 2 years and then one day when she came home from school she found her dog lying in the backyard....not moving. As she got closer to the dog she could see that it had been shot with an arrow and was barely breathing.

Her parents rushed the dog to the local vet and it was decided that the best thing for the dog was to have it put down. I will never forget her face when she came home that day.

The photo is not mine, but the words are. This is for Maureen.....

OK... I need CC on these. They are to be framed as a set for my sister. Anything need to be changed before I print?

Live Well

Laugh Often

Love Much

New here....and who am I to question the thoughts and meaning of others  .

However, "Love Much" doesn't quite do it for me....perhaps change it to "Love Always" ?

Comments are always welcome. Always. ;)

The whole phrase "Live well, laugh often, love much" was a common saying in my home when I was growing up. My mom has it HUGE written on the wall above the dining room.

I made the fixes suggested here, printed them, then gave them to my sister yesterday.
Incidentally.... and I find it incredibly funny...
that same day, my sister gave me a cute little trinket that says " Wine much, laugh often" She knows me well.:p
(She didn't know I was making the photos for her, it was a total coincidence.)

I tried to get the back ground invisible but didn't come thru that way. OK a wee edit and... didn't work. Wrong RGB numbers to match the background here. Anyone know what the correct ones are?

Thanks Cat. Inspired by your last three frame post.

Ahh...in that case, editing it would make it meaningless.

I don't think I'd want to share the family sayings that went around our home :)
